NOT FOR THE STRONG

NOT FOR THE STRONG

More there is to a battle than being strong
More to our world than being wise
Where the council of intellectuals scrambles for crumbs
And the fools, hailed and praised drain our milk
Leaving no drop for assuaging our thirst
Kingmakers they are that dictate the pace
For the beating of our HEARTS and the glory of our LAND
So you can’t but feel the pain and groan and say:
More there is to a battle than being strong
More to our world than being wise
Where imbeciles bribe their ways to the sacred treasures of our LAND
And desecrate the consecrated via the instrument of greed
Where idiots are crowned by the wise for some price
And morsel their folly in the tournament of permanence
Right here in our LAND, fools enough outwit the wise
In topsy-turvy games of greed, violence and destruction
So, more there is to a battle than being strong
More to our world than being wise
Seek the roots of the blindfolding scarlet of their ill-gotten wealth
And get choked by the stench of the rot
Upon which their mansions stood
Barricaded with gates for maximum imprisonment
To lock you out of their brazen acts of heartlessness
The very source of their fancy cars is
The reason for your homelessness
That sets the shepherd against the sheep
For wolves to devour while asleep
Much more there is to a battle than being strong
Much more to our world than being wise
